About King + Lois

King + Lois is a Sri Lankan clothing house founded by husband and wife, Rob and Radhika.

What began as a shared love of design, travel, culture and craftsmanship has evolved into a brand shaped by the places we have lived, the people we have met and the life we have built together.Originally from opposite sides of the world, our paths eventually crossed in New York City, where we met, fell in love and began building a life rooted in creativity, family and a shared appreciation for thoughtful design.Today, together with our two children, we call Sri Lanka home.Surrounded by the island’s rich landscapes, tropical climate, architecture, craftsmanship and relaxed pace of life, we create clothing designed to be lived in. From coastal roads and old colonial homes to bustling city streets and hidden mountain villages, the island continues to inspire the way we see, design and create.

Our Approach

At King + Lois, we believe in a slower and more intentional approach to clothing.Rather than following traditional fashion calendars, we release small collections throughout the year, allowing ideas to develop organically through our experiences, travels and everyday surroundings.Our collections draw inspiration from vintage menswear, contemporary design, music, art, architecture and the natural beauty of the places we call home.The result is a wardrobe that feels timeless, relaxed and refined — designed to be worn season after season rather than for a single moment.

Designed in Sri Lanka

Every King + Lois garment is designed and produced in Sri Lanka.

Working closely with local makers and manufacturing partners allows us to remain hands-on throughout the process, ensuring quality, responsible production and attention to detail at every stage.Whenever possible, we work with natural fibres, locally sourced materials and limited-production fabrics, creating pieces that feel personal, considered and unique.Many of our collections are produced in small quantities, reflecting our belief that clothing should be made with intention rather than excess.
